Our CAA annual review this year will be on Saturday, November 15th, 2 – 5.30 pm, Addingham Memorial Hall

There will be displays presented by our village community groups, short talks describing our current village-wide projects and two keynote talks. The first by Kath Clark from Bradford Council’s Sustainability Unit will be about the Bradford Climate Plan, stressing the need to work together, and the second by Alex Evans from Larger Us is concerned with the need to talk to each other about climate change to raise more awareness and understanding of the issues. There will be plenty of time for talking and asking questions as well as copious amounts to tea and cake to enjoy. The whole village is invited! All welcome!
The dates of our themed environment weeks for 2025 were as follows:
Zero Waste Week: May 4th to May 10th
Wildlife Week: June 14th to June 22nd
Sustainable Water Week: July 12th to July 19th
Zero Carbon Week: September 20th to September 27th
Specific events associated with those weeks are:
- Village Litterpick: Saturday 10th May
- Launch of a new wildlife walk from Addingham to Addingham Moorside – date in Wildlife Week to be confirmed
- 4Becks Water Quality Survey: Monday 14th July
- Home energy workshop: Wednesday 24th September
